Sacred Well Retreat

Crete| 5 Days | 12–17 Participants
April 8th – 13th
Hosted by Jenna, Maya, Liv

Hello, Hola, Γειά σου

I hear the world is crazy right now ... and some of you have been bundled up in the cold and dark of winter. How would you like a little break in the sunshine. A moment to rest, reset and get a bit of mythos back in your life?

Jenna, Liv and I invite you to a 6-day/5-night retreat on the island of the Gods - Crete, Greece.  A treat crafted just so for those in need of nourishing, colorful food, gentle movement, breath, yoga, beach lounging, blue water swimming, exploration of ancient and sacred sites, and unhurried time.

The schedule is packed with goodness, but this isn't a marathon of activities of “fix yourself” kind of retreat. It’s spacious, everything-optional, and guided by people who genuinely love what they offer.

People often arrive tired and leave feeling rejuvenated, excited for life, and more in tune with themselves. That's the goal: Finding again that steadiness, lightness and joy we all carry, and sometimes forget.

You will enjoy:

•     Healing, vibrant meals prepared by Jenna, connecting you to the rhythms, flavors, and abundance of Crete while honoring your body’s needs.

•     Morning movement and yoga guided by Maya and Liv, exploring Greek god and goddess archetypes and embodying their qualities.

•     Yin and breathwork sessions with Liv to release tension, deepen presence, and nourish your nervous system.

•     Mindful excursions to explore wells, caves, and ancient sites, allowing the land itself to restore and inspire you.

•     Mythic talks and storytelling sessions led by Maya and Jenna, exploring the living mythos of Crete — the gods, goddesses, and archetypal forces that call the island home — woven with reflection and creative practices that invite insight, meaning, and joy rooted in the natural world.

This retreat is fully optional in participation. There is no pressure, no forced sharing, no schedule that overrides your pace. You are free to wander, rest, write, or simply be, supported by a container that honors your autonomy and your need for restoration.

Limited to 12–17 participants. No alcohol. Trauma-informed space.

And a short drive away from the beach - for extra lounging or swimming in crystal clear blue water.

A Day at the Sacred Well

This is an example of how our days may unfold. All offerings are optional, and each day leaves ample space for rest, choice, and spontaneity.

Morning — Waking the Senses

We begin with gentle movement to awaken the body and senses, preparing us to meet the day with presence and ease. Practices may include meditation, pranayama, yoga, intuitive movement, and exploration of archetypal qualities drawn from Greek gods and goddesses.

We then gather for a slow, joyful breakfast of fresh fruit and nourishing offerings. All meals are thoughtfully prepared using wholesome, seasonal ingredients, with care taken to meet dietary needs in a way that is both healthy and genuinely enjoyable.

Late Morning to Early Afternoon — Land & Sea

Bright days invite us outward, with optional excursions to sacred wells, caves, ancient sites, quiet beaches, and other beautiful places on the island. On these days we may share a picnic in nature — fresh, colorful food enjoyed under open sky, with time to swim, wander, rest, and take in the landscape without hurry.

Afternoon — Rest & Integration

Afternoons are intentionally unscheduled. This is time for rest, solo exploration, journaling, swimming, or simply doing nothing at all.

For those who feel called to move, optional wild ecstatic dance or animal movement-inspired vinyasa may be offered — a space to shake off excess energy, follow instinct, laugh, and move freely, without choreography, expectation, or audience.

Early Evening — Mythos & Meaning

Those who wish may gather for optional storytelling talks, exploring the living mythos of Crete — its history, gods, goddesses, and archetypal stories — as threads that still move through land, psyche, and daily life, and which reflect our own.

A shared evening meal follows, generous and nourishing, prepared with care for flavor, balance, and dietary needs.

Evening — Softening Inward

Most evenings offer optional practices such as yin yoga, breathwork, or SoulScript writing, supporting nervous-system settling and inner listening. Other nights are left open for rest, quiet conversation, or stargazing.

Rest is always a valid choice.

Optional Afternoon Add-Ons

Afternoons also offer the opportunity to deepen your experience with private sessions, available at an additional cost:

·       Creative Writing or SoulScript with Maya — explore your inner voice and unlock your stories for healing, or simply for the pleasure of storytelling
·       Private Dance or Breathwork with Liv — a personalized session to release, energize, and reconnect with your body and breath.
·       Plant Wisdom Walk with Jenna — a guided walk connecting with local flora, their healing properties, and seasonal abundance tailored for your 1:1 curiosity.

These sessions are completely optional, allowing you to choose what feels nourishing for your own retreat journey.

Jenna is a chef, herbalist, and guide whose work blends nourishment, ritual, and seasonal wisdom. She believes that food is medicine, and that every meal can be a moment of care, connection, and delight.

Her journey began on an organic farm in San Diego, studying herbalism and farm-to-table practices, and evolved through years of traveling worldwide, learning from local ingredients and culinary traditions. In 2020, she turned fully to wellness-focused cuisine, creating meals, herbal infusions, and elixirs for retreats and pop-up events.

Maya is a storyteller, writer, and facilitator working at the intersection of myth, movement, and lived experience. She guides spaces that invite people back into their bodies and imaginations — through creative writing, animal-inspired movement, ecstatic dance, and cacao-based ceremonial gatherings.

Her work is less about teaching and more about creating conditions where insight, play, and honesty can naturally arise. She sees myth and archetypal stories as living maps, helping people make sense of their inner landscapes. Nomadic by choice, Maya believes remembering who we are can unfold through movement, laughter, shared stories, and moments of quiet presence.
